Prior to Guillermo del Toro being formally announced as the director of the Tolkien classic The Hobbit, rumors had abounded the internet regarding this tip. It’s been awhile that I’ve been looking around for a Wordpress plugin that allows my readers to click on a link that would present a video in one of those Lightbox boxes. I guess I’m still unknowledgeable about the technical side of things because I am yet to come across one that does exactly what I want. I wish someone could make something like this that all I have to do is activate.

I’ve also tried placing Quicktime videos which are of better quality rather than your usual YouTube videos. Quicktime I’ll have to host them myself and that might run up my hosting costs, so I guess I’m also looking for a way to have Quicktime movies embedded on my site without have to store them on my host. I have checked a couple of things that do that, and have also gone about learning how to scale them. But I haven’t put any on this blog just yet since I would like those vids to show up on, like I said, a lightbox.
